For people who like to travel frequently and rely on absolute precision, the Globetimer is the perfect companion. It displays the time in the countries of departure and destination of your trips on your wrist. Inspired by the simple and precise operating principle of Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK), the time zone display can be adjusted in one-hour increments, without losing the exact time display – and all at the push of a button. Setting the time using the crown is therefore no longer necessary and saves valuable seconds – simple, precise and including the automatic adjustment of the date display.

For true Porsche enthusiasts, the chronograph offers the exclusive opportunity to choose from different winding rotors inspired by the iconic design of Porsche 911 wheels. A timepiece that embodies both the passion and heritage of this legendary sports car. A personal engraving can also be added to the case back of the tailor-made timepiece – be it a message, a name or the VIN number of your vehicle. This means that your watch is not only customised, but also personalised. The heart of every custom-made watch is the Porsche Design calibre WERK 01.100.

The Chronograph and the Globetimer form the basis. The high-quality case is extremely lightweight, hypoallergenic and extremely durable, thanks to the use of the high-tech material titanium. The surface is finished in glass bead blasted titanium or classic Black – just like the bezel, which is finished as a '24H Scale' on the Globetimer and can also be configured in the 'tachymeter' or 'timer' variants on the Chronograph.

Whether Chronograph or Globetimer –  the dial is visually and functionally based on the rev counter from the Porsche 911 and is reduced to the essentials, as is characteristic of Porsche Design. White hands and indices on a Matt Black background are optimally readable through sapphire crystal with 7-way anti-glare properties.

The Porsche Design titanium strap with quick-change system is available in either titanium carbide coated (Black) or natural titanium. A soft leather strap made of genuine Porsche vehicle leather, the numerous colour options of which correspond to the colour world of the 911 interior, is also available. Coloured contrasting stitching in different colour options in genuine Porsche vehicle thread gives the strap a final flourish.  

Both Porsche Design custom-built timepieces contain exclusive Porsche Design movements with COSC certification. The Porsche Design custom-built Chronograph is powered by the Porsche Design calibre WERK 01.100. The Porsche Design custom-built Globetimer is equipped with the in-house calibre WERK 04.110. Each watch is designed in the Porsche Design Studio F. A. Porsche in Zell am See. The custom-built timepieces are developed and manufactured in Porsche's watch factory in Solothurn, Switzerland.

In the Chronograph, the heart of the timepiece beats in the form of a winding rotor. It is optionally available as a Porsche Design icon rotor in Black or as a rotor shaped like one of the lightweight alloy wheels of the current 911. In keeping with the style, some winding rotors are designed with the striking central locking mechanism or the wheel cover with the Porsche Crest.

If desired, the back of the titanium case of each custom-built timepiece can be personalised with high-precision laser engraving. With space for up to 12 characters, there is ample space for a name, registration plate number or the vehicle ID number of your sports car. The custom-built Globetimer also has enough space for an additional five lines of text of 17 characters each on the closed case back – or alternatively a graphic engraving.
