An event like no other.

This year, the Monterey Car Week for car enthusiasts from all over the world took place in sunny California. Porsche Design was represented in a special way this year to present its unique brand experience and unmistakable brand heritage in a relaxed atmosphere at one of the most exclusive car exhibitions. At the Porsche Centre Monterey, Porsche fans not only had the opportunity to discover the new Porsche GT3 RS, but also to experience the heritage of the Porsche Design brand.

The highlight of the event was the US debut of the restored Porsche 911 S 2.4 Targa and the Porsche Design Chronograph 1 – 911 S 2.4 Targa. These two models will be available to purchase exclusively at the Luxury Week in New York at the end of the year. The special bundle is the product of a close partnership between Porsche and Porsche Design to mark the 50th anniversary of the Porsche Design brand.

In an exciting conversation between Jeff Zwart, Karsten von Engeln, Uwe Makrutzki and Gerhard Novak, visitors were able to gain insights into the detailed restoration of the 1972 Porsche Targa and the Chronograph 1.

An unforgettable event that will be talked about for a long time to come.
