Porsche Design has been developing and producing chronographs for more than thirty years, and has continued to push the limits in doing so. To this end, it hasn’t just reinvented tried-and-trusted technology, it has succeeded in continuing the art of watchmaking through innovative functions, unusual materials, pure and exquisite design, and absolute perfection down to the very last detail. So owning and wearing a Porsche Design watch will always be something special, just as producing such a watch is special, too.
The Porsche Design Flat Six models are timepieces that focus on the essential. Their namesake is the six cylinder Boxer engine that played a large part in building up the global reputation that the Porsche brand enjoys. The strap is integrated into the matt and polished stainless steel housing, some parts of which are PVD coated.
The Porsche Design Dashboard sets functional and aesthetic accents with its innovative material finishing, dynamic design and entirely purist shape. The automatic chronograph’s design is based on the dashboard of a Porsche sports car.
The Porsche Design Worldtimer is a mechanical world time watch with ultimate precision. It displays the time in two different time zones simultaneously. For the first time it is possible to switch between time zones without losing a second. All it takes is a push of a button. The P´6750’s engine is the Eterna caliber 6037 with intelligent world time function.
Each of the Porsche Design INDICATOR models is made by hand by a special watchmaker and takes 35 days to make. The result of the only automatic chronograph in the world equipped with a mechanical-digital stopwatch display. This is made possible by what is currently the most complex series production movement in the world: The Eterna caliber 6036 with energy-optimized Porsche Design Rotor.
